General: Take time for you
After a week of walking tall, let’s discuss feeling good about yourself. It’s easier said than done, but not impossible to do. First thing, you need to develop a positive outlook about yourself. How do you do that? You make a list of all the things you like most about yourself. Are you good with children? A natural with pets? A good listener?
Then start turning the negative talk into positive talk. Your hips that may usually bug you, choose to see them as the luscious curves. Do you shirk you shoulder to hide your fabulous boobs? Think of how many woman pay for surgery to have what you naturally have. Reframe how you view what you perceive to be your faults. It’ll feel awkward and pointless at first, but just keep doing it and over time it’ll sink in and you will actually start to believe the positive talk. How can I be so sure, don’t you currently believe your negative self talk? If it works for that, the opposite must be true too right?
And lastly, get up 15-20 minutes early. Use that time to do something that is 100% for you and your health. Whether it’s an extra long shower, or actually sitting down and enjoying a healthy breakfast, or snuggling with your loved ones instead of rushing everyone out the door. Take that time to replenish yourself before your day starts and you’ll find you are calmer and more at peace throughout the day.
